WHAT IS GRIDMAP ?

GridMap Home

GridMap is a sytem that compares college football teams based solely on games won or lost. No quantitative measures or subjective evaluations are used. The “"Grid"” consists of tiers, or levels, arranged by conference. Teams are “"Mapped"”, or positioned on the grid, based on GridMap's fundamental mapping principle: 1) Teams are positioned above opponents they defeat, and below oponents they lose to. A corollary principle follows from the first: 2) Teams are also positioned above teams that lose to the opponents they defeat, and below teams that defeat the opponents they lose to.
